But based on what we have now, maximizing buffs on 1x DPS is almost always the superior choice.Discuss Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms! New champion mechanics may change that, of course. There's certainly exceptions, but as I said, even in the best scenario, you're looking at a 100% increase in DPS. This is why 2x DPS formations don't amount to much of anything aside from gimmick fights that need quantity of hits over quality of hits.Īdditionally, using 2x DPS usually results in a net loss, because rather than having a stellar buffer, you're using 2 champions that specialize in their own DPS. But in the end, a 100% increase is rather insignificant. One of the spots in your DPS column will always be Bruenor, though.Īlso, the biggest bonus you can get from having 2x DPS is AT BEST a mere 100% increase (because having two pies is 100% more than having just 1 pie). Would way overpower any single dps gains for a Binwin single dps buff. This formation is a bit unique in that you can utilize 2 DPS spots. the OTHER TWO slots that are *usually* behind her, and in this particular event's formation where one has Nay in the single 2nd column, for instance. I'm fairly certain that Nay buffs more than ONE dps slot, and you're not taking into account the buffs that Nay applies to uh. Am I being obtuse or are you comparing Binwins *SOLO* dps against Nay's ability to buff ONE dps slot?
